• Allison Ogden-Newton, the CEO of Keep Britain Tidy, was misnamed as “Allison Ogden‑Nash” in an article about a fly-tip in Lichfield, Staffordshire (‘I wonder if it was some kind of revenge’, 5 February, G2, p4).

• The film director Jeannot Szwarc was born on 21 November in 1937, not 1939 as we said in his obituary (31 January, Journal, p6).
